This Forum!Live online course aims at providing a toolbox for improving procedures and outcomes of the IP department. This should facilitate making the IP department even a more costsensitive profit center.
In a world where most companies' intangible assets have reached 70-80 % and in a competitive landscape that for most companies is changing from historical to emerging competitors and markets, IP is finally rising from its status of a mere legal asset to a key business asset, which enables companies to accomplish their business strategies and to drive/manage their innovation. The professionalization of IP Departments and the IP cultural change must happen concurrently with the current rise of digitization and big data analytics, so that companies can finally avoid incurring in the same mistakes of the past, from misappropriation of ideas to total unpreparedness to emerging threats, from excessive spending to missed monetization opportunities.
This online course will empower corporate IP professionals to lead their companies into the next IP maturity level and corporate and law firm IP professionals to provide better services to their internal and external clients. By means of best practices, the attendees will gain a deep understanding on how to structure and systematize IP handling, with the objective of minimizing IP risks and maximizing IP opportunities.
Do you run an IP department as internal or external counsel or plan to do so and would like to know more about modern concepts and tools to facilitate your task?
Then this is the right online course for you. IP knowledge is assumed. This program is also extremely suitable for high potentials with prospects to take over IP leadership roles in the future.
