Mr. Berres is a business owner and consulting partner with IPBA Portal GmbH (formerly Wurzer & Kollegen) in Munich, where he is responsible for managing strategy projects to protect digital business models. Before he has worked for more than 25 years as an executive in various divisions of Siemens AG in Germany and the USA. Wolfgang Berres is author and co-author of publications on IP and knowledge management and a member of the DIN committee on quality in IP management where he was involved in the development of DIN 77006.

This online course teaches participants how to have IP management processes optimized.
DIN 77006 reshapes the way IP is handled in companies; it can be integrated into existing quality management systems. Our speakers will give you an overview of the basic structures of management systems and the essential requirements for IP processes. The challenges to digital transformation, especially against the background of compliance requirements and the fulfilment of due diligence obligations, can thus be met systematically.
You will learn the basic requirements of an IP management system and can assess whether and how you can integrate these these new requirements into operational practice. You will understand the benefits of a systematic approach to create an efficient and legally compliant organization.
