Dr. Matthias Zigann is a designated legally qualified judge at the Unified Patent Court (Local Division Munich) and Presiding Judge at the Munich Higher Regional Court. There he is heading the 38th Civil Senate since November 2022. From December 2012 to October 2022, he presided over the 7th (Patent) Division of the Munich Regional Court I. Prior to his appointment as presiding judge he was seconded to serve as a research associate with the Xth Civil (Patent) Senate of the German Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe for three years. Dr. Zigann is i.a. co-editor and co-author of the Beck Online Commentary UPC (to go online end of 2023).

Dr. Tobias Wuttke is a partner of Bardehle Pagenberg since 1st January 2023. Each year, he deals with over 30 in-court IP litigation cases and far more out-of-court disputes. He is recognised by JUVE, Legal 500, Chambers and IAM as a leading patent litigator in Germany.

Tilman Müller-Stoy is widely recognized as one of Germany's leading patent litigators with global patent litigation experience. He has handled and coordinated several hundreds of adversarial patent disputes in courts and patent offices and vast experience in not only defending against, but also creating, evaluating, and enforcing extensive licensing programs, particularly in the area of SEPs, including FRAND issues. His technical focus is on automotive, telecommunications, IT, consumer electronics, medical devices and pharmaceuticals/biosimilars.
