What’s the procedure?

• All additional information and personal documents are available in your personalised customer portal https://members.forum-institut.com/login. This is also where you start your online seminar. Should you not have access to the customer portal yet, please register at https://members.forum-institut.com/login
• You can test Zoom in advance on https://zoom.us/test.    
• You do not have permission to use ZOOM? Please contact us, we will gladly offer you alternatives for the participation in our online seminar.
     

 

What are the requirements?


Participation in an online seminar

All additional information and personal documents are available in your personalised customer portal https://members.forum-institut.com/login. This is also where you start your online seminar. Should you not have access to the customer portal yet, please register at https://members.forum-institut.com/login

Make sure in advance that you have terminated your VPN access. Please click on the access link about 15 minutes before the online seminar starts.

Depending on your browser and security settings, a pop-up will appear. Here you must click on the button 'Open URL:Zoom Launcher'. The online seminar will then open and you will have to enter the meeting identification code and the passcode that is available to you on our customer portal.
 

Set up audio connection

After the Zoom interface has opened, you will have the option of connecting to the audio. Either you will be asked directly whether you want to join the audio via the computer or via the telephone or you will have to click on 'Join audio' in the lower left corner of the Zoom window.



If you have a fast internet connection, you can call directly from your computer. To set this up, click 'Audio Settings' on the menu bar at the bottom left and make the required changes.
Otherwise, your regular telephone connection will provide excellent audio. Just dial the telephone number displayed and follow the instructions, using the access code and subscriber ID displayed. Please make sure that you mute your computer audio immediately after dialling in to avoid noise. The ‘Mute’ button is on the bottom menu bar.


     

Chat function

To use the chat function, click the ‘Chat’ button on the bottom menu bar.


A chat window will appear on the right. You can now type in questions to the speaker or reply to a question yourself. Make sure to address your questions to everyone.
