Iuliia Kauk is an experienced finance manager with a profound knowledge of the EU cohesion policy. She has a background in programme and project financial management, honed through hands-on involvement with the EU-co-funded programmes. She has contributed her skills to various European territorial cooperation (Interreg) programmes, spanning cross-border, transnational, and interregional scales. Iuliia has over 5 years of professional expertise with simplified cost options (SCOs). She has been facilitating and leading the working groups on SCOs, advising various programme bodies (joint secretariats, managing authorities, controllers, audit and certifying authorities) on how to develop programme-specific methodologies for SCOs, how to introduce SCOs in the programmes, how to involve different stakeholders, how to embed SCOs in the management and control systems and programme's procedures, and how to ensure proper audit and control of SCOs. Iuliia is an advocate for simplification of European Structural Funds and firmly believes that SCOs, among other measures, offer a great opportunity to focus on qualitative implementation of the funds.

Urszula Wójcik has been working in public sector in Poland in the field of the European Funds for over ten years. She is an expert on programming as well as assessing and selecting projects for co-financing. She is also involved in providing support for increasing the administrative capacity of institutions, beneficiaries and partners. Deeply interested in simplification with particular focus on SCO and FNLC. Holds a degree in administration and legal English written and oral translation.
