This live webcast course deals with detailed guidance to the formal requirements of the PCT and information on the regulations related to the PCT.
The hands-on training programme will provide attendees with detailed guidance, using actual letters and communications from real files to illustrate the essential formal requirements of the PCT. After introducing the system, our expert will guide the group through a practical exercise in which a filing is prepared step-by-step. Options such as where to file, whether an agent is required, when to file and the fees to be paid are discussed, as well as how to fill in the application form. Attendees will learn about the content of official communications between filing and national and regional phase entry, as well as important deadlines to comply with.
The course refers to daily practice, identifying the steps to correct mistakes, and highlighting critical information that should be extracted from official PCT communications. It is tailored to those who want to become acquainted with the practical aspects of PCT. By the end of this
course, attendees will be able to apply their knowledge and complete a PCT application independently, in a structured and organised manner.
